Marisa Jackson
Marisa toured, choreographed and taught in Europe for more than 10 years before moving to an intentional community in Ontario in 2005. She came to Vancouver Island in 2008 where she was involved with OUR Ecovillage for 5 years. Marisa now focuses on her art and her children.
During the last decade Marisa has performed with various artists, musicians and singers.
Today, her passion for dance lies in authentic movement and contact improvisation as a concrete illustration of all the facets our personal journeys and relationships as well as a deep metaphor for the creation of community.
