Intuitive Sound Sessions are with Cari Burdett who will be using gongs, crystal bowls, voice, breath, percussion and song. Gongs, iron plants, tubular bells are created and hand forged by Massimo Pintus at Gaia Tone Art.
We invite you to come and experience a live improvised, intuitive & attuned sound session. You are invited to lie down in your own created “nest”, while you listen to music being sounded around you.
Please bring what you want to be comfy and warm in the yurt. The fire will be on, however, the wooden floor can sometimes we cold and we encourage you to arrive early to set up your space so you are warm. (warm clothes, layers, blankets, yoga pad, sheep skin, eye mask, toque, warm socks, etc.).
We will be using crystal bowls, hand drums, gongs, shakers, metal rods, chimes, flutes, voices and moving in the room around you. Depending on the guest/s, they will bring their instruments as well ( violin, harp, guitar..etc).
Sessions will be approx. 2 hours. The space will be open for 30 mins prior to start time to allow for settling in and questions etc. Please allow plenty of time on either side, 30 mins or more. Sessions could go longer to 3 hours, depending on debriefing or a feeling to go longer.
